Vise Bookend

I designed this Vise Bookend in SOLIDWORKS for the Printables Bookends contest (10/04/2023).

The goal was to get away from the usual “L” shape and offer a nice & original bookend for For those who really like to “squeeze” the knowledge out of their books :)

The Vise Bookend is assembled from seven parts, some will need supports. Or you will have to be really creative in your slicing.

All the parts are assembled easily, with a fey drops of your favorite glue & actually moving and functioning as intended. 

All the files are orientated for convenient printing in STEP & STL & 3DM files & you can remix the model freely with the attached original (.SLDPRT).
