Description
This is designed based on the Treasure Chest in Kingdom Hearts Traverse Town.
The detailed sides are printed flat to allow easy color change for the detailed molding.
When bringing the parts into your slicer the following angles may be needed to rotate the parts to print flat. The bottom angled sides are at 10.6 deg. The Lid Lower sides are also at a 10.6 deg. The lid middle sides are at 54.32 deg. The lid top sides are at 13.34 deg.
The main body of the chest and lid can be printed on its side with one side open. The remaining sides are then printed and the parts are glued together. This allows easy printing with no supports.
The detailed sides are then printed and glued to the main body.
The peg design uses 4 pegs to hold the lid in place. This worked great at 310% scale.
The hinges can be glued on to the back. At 100% scale they are small and can be fragile.
