Description
Update April 30th, 2023: I broke a ziptie trying to weigh an e-bike, so I've uploaded a heavy duty version that fits bigger/stronger zipties. It also fits 2 zipties if you want to just double up regular duty ones. Depending on your machine and materials you may want to use supports.

Replaces the tiny hook found on cheap finishing scales, making them a good, inexpensive alternative bike scale.
You can find a lot of $10 fish scales around, most of which are more than accurate enough for bikes. This hook replaces the small hook they include. It's designed to hold the front of the seat securely but without damage.
I suggest printing it flat with a strong filament like NylonX or another quality carbon-nylon blend. I used all walls no infill for more strength. The hook attaches by a single standard ziptie, which should have a 50-80lb tensile strength rating, but you can get much stronger metal zipties in the same size if needed.
I hung 80lb off this thing without issue, but if you spend all day weighing electric cargo bikes you should look into a different solution.
