Description
A Lighted Base for IKEA BEGÅVNING glass dome.
A friend asked me for help creating a setup to make a lighted base for a rose to emulate the one in Beauty and the Bast.
This is the result, and uses a cheap usb light of Ali Express ( search wooden LED, several vendors sell them.
To get the ligh to shine trough, a gridded plate is used in the bottom (Several versions included.
The main piece is printed with supports.
The grid/cover piece is printed with no top/bottom layers, and just select a infill pattern/density that suits your liking (pictured)
The base is designed to be a tight fit against the glass, so depending on your printers tuning you might want to scale it up a % or so if it is to tight.
