Description

This time I decided to work not with the form or structure, but with the surface. It was important for me to find out how light is reflected and control its movement. To do this, I formed a surface from small pixels. Each flake is located at a special angle to the surface plane. Their different angles make it possible to see several phases of light reflection. As a result the surface glows with different patterns and looks lively, pulsating. This influenced the name of the jewelry series - Pulse.
Better than words, the video can show the result:

The pulsation of patterns - almost a "cardiogram" (and a reflection of the rhythm of life), looks most curious precisely on the wrist bracelet - the place where the pulse is measured.
In fact, in perspective, this makes it possible to obtain more complex animated holographic images.

Print instructions

The set includes earrings, a bracelet (ID 65 mm) and a ring (ID about 19 mm). Their sizes can be changed in the slicer.
For printing, you should choose the most shiny plastic, for example, the one called Silk. It even works on regular black PLA or PETG, though. Dark shiny plastic seem to have a stronger effect.
All files can be printed without support, but it is worth giving a small brim (I set 3mm). Layer thickness 0.2 mm, width 0.45, nozzle 0.4 (I think it is possible to make a smaller layer thickness, but I have not tested it). The parts are small, so it is better to choose a small speed - 40-60 mm/s and turn on the cooling.
Slicer can detect some "errors" in the model - this does not affect the result in any way. In addition, PrusaSlicer fixes them automatically.
