Hinged IKEA HÅLLBAR Clip - Print in Place

When Using the IKEA HÅLLBAR for sorting your trash, they might be difficult to keep closed, like the one with the plastic in, right?
To solve this agony I have this clip, which keeps it easy to open the lid, but also secures it in place when closed.

Print instructions

you can print it in any rigid material, PLA might be the easiest due to the bridging required, to make the hinge move after printing.

i printed it in PETG for a strong yet flexible part.

as there is only 0.15mm clearance, I recommend layer heights no bigger than 0.15.

be carefull not to break the part when first moving the joint, try to bend it slightly in both directions, until it goes loose.
