My changes to the BeltEnder (https://www.orbiterprojects.com/beltender-linear-rail-upgrade-for-ender-printers/).
First up, huge thanks to Róbert Lőrincz for the very awesome BeltEnder design!
While installing it and running it for a while i made some alterations which improved things for me.
- The bearings i ordered were wrong and a bit oversized so modified it to fit what i had. Then some screws were incorrectly ordered, where i ended up with flat head bolts rather than countersunk bolts. (This was a happy accident as i prefer the look of these more).
- The motor mount had too much flex in it, which I think doesn't really matter but was bugging me so I added more plastic to make it stronger, added a 4th screw hole for the motor and I also removed the mount for the cover because I didn't like covering the coolest part of the BeltEnder.
- Added a clamp on the X axis for sensorless homing.
- After a bit of use i noticed the left side of the x axis sagged a bit, so added a little floating grip on the belt to get a tighter clamp.
- Added some light weight cable holders so that my wires dont touch the bed.
- I'm using Klipper with SKR mini e3 v2 and other kit, https://github.com/madsi1m/BeltEnder
