Description
A simple tool to help thread wheel nut onto studs for wheels with deep set holes. Helps prevent cross-threading as the tool acts as an extension on the end of the wheel nut and get the threads aligned properly. It can also help protect your wheels from scratches. The tool is designed for 13/16" wheel nuts and works with both of my vehicles. If you need a larger or smaller, resize the X/Y in your slicer as needed.
Print settings:
The basic version lacks two features: a center hole for ejecting a stuck wheel nut and knurls on the grip to help turn the tool.
Inspired by Functional Print Friday (3) 3D Printed 46mm Kubota Crank Pulley Socket. However, this model was designed entirely my own using OpenScad.
