MKII 5W Wind Turbine Improved Crank

The MkII Wind Turbine from 3dprintable1 is an excellent model but have taken to upgrade some of the components.

The first change is the crank arm which holds the turbine blades on.

Improvements are:

• creation of a hexagonal recess to allow capture of an M5 bolt head to prevent rotation (without gluing)
• increase in shaft width to mate better with the bearing's interior surfaces.

Made the 'tube' wider on the outside and tighter on the screw width.

Changed the hex head size to be tighter.

All changes are incremental in nature.

Print instructions

Printing in PLA at either .15mm or .2mm appears to work.
