Description

I'm really digging the Gear Spinner Keychain by davemoneysign. But I need a bunch of 'em, and all the extra parts can really add up. So, I made a remix that looks and works just as good, but can be totally 3D printed. No skate bearings, no heat set inserts, no screws needed. And by the way, no glue either.

Interested? Then also check out my other variation, with which you can engrave your name or or a short message on the back.

Or you may like a further variation, with which you can emboss your license plate number on the back.

Printing information

Layer height: 0.15mm
Infill: 15%
Support: none
Brim: recommended for screws

Just go ahead and use the 3mf files - they've got everything you need, including color changes for the screw heads and those little lines in the keychain.

Hey guys, just a heads up - this model has some seriously detailed parts, so I'm recommending a layer height of 0.15mm for all parts. And even though I usually love my 0.6mm nozzle, I decided to switch things up and go with a 0.4mm nozzle for this one.

Assembly information

Just snap the parts together and then screw in the screws. They're pretty easy to turn, so you can just use your hands. But if you need to, grab an M3 hex key. And don't crank those screws too tight - they're not metal, and you don't want 'em blocking the gears.

I am looking forward to your Makes! :-)
