Sliding Business Card Holder

This minimal business card holder is compact and eye-catching, perfect for your next networking event!

Card holder is designed to fit standard 3.5" x 2" (90mm x 51mm) business cards. Capacity for 16pt thick cards is around 10.

There are two versions included:

ROUNDED corners that perfectly fit card with a 5mm corner radius (such as those from Moo)

SQUARED corners for cards with sharp edges.

Assembly

To assemble, print one each of the front, back, and slider pieces (see below for support information). Glue the font and back pieces together with some CA glue or similar adhesive, and then snap the slider onto the notch. It should slide back and forth about 1cm. If the fit is too tight, remove the slider and use a hobby knife or small file to trim any protruding material.

Supports

These parts require supports when printing, so there are two version of each file available:

• Regular files have no built-in supports.
• Files ending in -supported have built-in breakaway supports. These supports are designed for 0.2mm layer height.

I also included the custom supports as separate STLs in case you want to use different materials for the supports. For PLA you should be fine with the built-in supports, but I found that PETG worked better when I printed the front and back supports in PLA first.
