Automobile Coin Holder

Tired of chasing coins around your vehicle? I got tired of digging change out of the storage tray in our car so I came up with this little coin holder. It is designed to hold nickles, dimes and quarters so they can easily be accessed rather than having to dig them out of the center console tray. It can easily be removed from the car as well if you don't want to leave it sitting out in the open. 

The design was made so that the change can easily be removed, but not so easy that normal driving will cause the change to fall/shake out of the tray. It is also designed to allow you to visually see the remaining change in each column. Each column has the coin value embossed in the surface of the tray.

This tray holds:

• 32 - quarters
• 41 - Dimes
• 28 - Nickles

Here are the settings that I used:

• .20 mm layer height
• .4 mm nozzle
• 25% infill
• Gyroid infill pattern
• Rafts: No
• Supports: No
• 3 perimeters
• 3 Layers top and bottom

I used PLA in spite of it's not being stable in hot environments and have not had any problem with it. Seeing how I live in Florida and the inside of your car can get extremely hot I think you won't have a problem using it for this print. There is no reason why whatever filament you happen to be using wouldn't work, but the choice is up to you.
