Switch JoyCon Controller Stand - No Supports - Hex Themed

This is a 2 piece stand for the JoyCon Controllers (created by Semmel).  
I’ve also added a ‘tall’ version to support ‘Joycon Controller Large Hands Comfort Mods’ (remix by Mattmega77)

This stand is an easy 2 piece print.  No supports required!  The pieces friction fit together (the tightness of this fit is highly dependent on your printer).  You can add a few drops of superglue before assembling and they hold together perfect.  There’s also a hole designed for an M4 bolt, in case you’d like to screw the parts together.  (Note - do not over tighten).

Parts included:

• Switch_JoyCon_Stand_Body
• Switch_JoyCon_Stand_Body_Tall (40mm taller)
• Switch_JoyCon_Stand_Base_Small
• Switch_JoyCon_Stand_Base_Large

You only need to print one body, and one of the two Base options.  The Small base is designed to be the same ‘footprint’ size as the two controllers on the stand - thus taking up the smallest space possible.  The Large base extends beyond the length and width of the controllers to show the base more.  Parts can be printed individually, or together.  

There’s enough clearance on both the normal and tall body to add these to your controllers:  Rounded end caps for Joycon Controller (by Toaster_117)
 

Note - the “nub” is specifically sized to allow the stand to be used with the JoyCon still in the controller.  

My Print Settings (PLA)

• Base
  • .2 mm layer height
  • 10% Infill - Gyroid
  • 4 walls
  • 4 top/bottom layers
  • 100 mm/s print speed (adjust to your printer/preferences)
  • Printed flat on build plate - no brim
• Body
  • .2 mm layer height
  • 5% Infill - Gyroid
  • 3 walls
  • 3 top/bottom layers
  • 100 mm/s print speed (adjust to your printer/preferences)
  • Printed laying on side (as oriented in STL), no brim
