Description
If you are like me and have purchased used Traxxas RC Cars, you've likely gotten some that are missing the plug for the waterproof receiver box. This model is a replacement for that plug on the waterproof receiver box.
Please keep in mind that 3d printed models are not watertight, so although this will prevent water from getting in the box, it won't be as good as the original plug.
This model is designed to be a tight fit, the goal of this is to try to make it more water resistant, it will require a little bit of force to get in place. I recommend putting some grease on the sides before inserting the plug into the box. This will help both with water resistance, and will make it easier to get in place.
I suggest printing this using .15mm detail to help with water resistance. I also used 20% infill and PETG. PLA should work fine but it might not hold up as well over time. Even with these settings it takes about 15 minutes to print.
