Brome Squirrel Buster Standard Funnel

The Brome Squirrel Buster Standard feeder works really well for keeping squirrels from eating all of the bird seed but it can be a pain to fill without spilling seed all over. I put this together in FreeCAD to solve that. 

Fill to bottom edge of funnel to avoid over filling.

Design notes:

• Designed to print wide end down with no supports.
• Center “tube” is to prevent spillage into the tiny holes in the center adjustment tube.
• Only one support for the tube because it's not load bearing and doesn't need more :)
• Intentionally thicker at the bottom of funnel for a little extra weight.
• I printed with 3 walls and 15% infill, but that's overkill really. Material doesn't really matter either.
• You could “cap” the tube over the center post, but I didn't find it necessary.

Use a Brim! There is very little contact with the bed. Unless your adhesion is spot on - a brim will save you some headaches.

Edit: Imported model into Plasticity to play with - the result is V2 - capped and with some added refinements. I'm still using V1, but V2 is prettier ;)
