Description
I like my ES15, but I found the bit set it came with was sorely lacking. So I decided to combine it with my iFixit Mako bit set.
This case adds holders for all of the bits, it also has a small driver handle that can have the ¼" adapter glued into it for when you need more torque. I've also added a 4mm extension bar that is held in place in the lid with magnets.
Required hardware for the build is:
You will also need some epoxy to glue the bottom of the bit holder to the top half after placing all of your magnets in. I highly recommend checking the silos with the bits for a loose fit before adding your magnets. The calibration of your printer may impact the accuracy of the holes, making it difficult to remove the bits. If so, recalibrating or maybe just increasing your XY expansion setting may help. I had to print this part at very low speed.
I highly recommend also epoxying the ¼" bit adapter from the Mako kit into the screw driver handle.
