Description
Small pot for planting and harvesting some cress at home. Consists of a bottom part which acts as the water reservoir and a top part which acts as the grid for the seeds.
Simply fill the reservoir up with water until the water slightly overflows the top part. Then distribute some seeds on the top part. Fill the water first, otherwise some of the seeds might fall through the grid.
Thanks to the water, the seeds will start growing and soon you can enjoy some home-cultivated cress. No need for any soil. After harvesting, remove the roots and clean the grid, then reuse again and grow more cress ;)
The top part provides a hole in one corner to refill the reservoir with water. In my case, the refill is usually not necessary and the reservoir provides enough water for the cress to fully grow.
The bottom part does not need any support. The slightly overhanging rim of the top part however needs support structures.
If you have seeds falling through the grid, try to scale down the model a bit, so that the holes of the grid become smaller.
