Description
Replacement impeller for Anycubic Wash + Cure station (sealed to prevent rust).
I had the ball bearing in my impeller for the Anycubic wash and cure station go bad and begin adding rust to all my prints. The alcohol I guess, made it rust out, and then the magnets ALSO got a ton of rust on them that I could not clean off. To prevent this in the future. I printed this print, and paused it half way and added the magnets into it and then glued them in place. I then let it resume, encasing the magnets inside the impeller. I also then used a ceramic ball bearing since that would not rust. Now the only part that can rust is the magnets, and those are encased.
Been using this in my wash and cure station for a few years now (*about 2) and no issues yet. It has not added new rust into the solution and spins as expected. It does not agitate as harshly as the previous, but gets the job done and cleans prints well.
You will need to pause to add magnets and glue them in place, as well as add the ball bearing of the same size as used previously in the OWM product. I believe it was 20mm, but you'll need to measure yours to be sure and get an equal size ceramic one.
