Description
You may have come across my other 1:12 scale models for my solar shed project - I'm building a real shed & a 1:12 scale model of it. The real shed will contain a 12kW and 8kW solar charger inverter and two 32-cell LFP battery arrays. One set is based on 280Ah and the other 200Ah batteries, respectively 28.672 kWh and 20.48 kWh. It will house a couple of EV chargers, completely off-grid.
I'm thinking I might make the 1:12 scale model into a solar charge station for USB devices…
I experimented with using IdeaMaker to apply a texture from a photograph of woodgrain to a simple rectangular model (which renders to G-Code), then using Voxelizer to convert that back to an STL file. The texture I used was based on pine and does not match exactly the HardiePanel fiber cement board, but I figure it is close enough. I sliced the model using variable layer height in Bambu Studio so it will print the boring parts fast and preserve detail.
See my other 1:12 models for the inverters and batteries. The shed and lumber panels are coming soon!
*** UPDATE *** See my new remix which has been textured using a photo of the actual product.
