Description
We have a Nespresso pod-style coffee machine at home which works very well and makes excellent coffee, however standard coffee cups or mugs do not fit on the drip tray below the coffee feed outlet - the gap is too short.
I created this elevated base (20mm was sufficient) to allow coffee mugs to be used but still sit on the drip tray without having to remove it.
The elevated base also allows for the pod-bin and drip tray to be easily removed to be emptied and cleaned without having to remove the base.Â
Printed on Prusa Mini+ so I had to split the base in two pieces, printed separately, with an integrated interlocking connector to lock them firmly together.
Printed 20mm layer height, 6mm nozzle, 15% infill, with supports only required on the small drip tray extension component.
EDIT: v2 - added additional files to better integrate the pod drip tray, make a much larger cup base to avoid tipping for large mugs, and a new cup drip tray with larger base footprint for more stability.
