Rotating Month Indicator

This monthly indicator is easy to assemble and easy to use. Simply stick one on whatever you need to track by months and then rotate to select a month. I use one to keep track of when the filter in our water purifier was last changed.

Instructions

Print one of each part. You can print in any material, and supports are not required. I recommend doing a filament swap on the dial piece to give the letters extra contrast.

To assemble, place the dial onto the base by lining up the notches and pressing down until it snaps into place. Then, place the cap over the base and press firmly until it snaps into place. Then, flip the assembly over and make sure the bumps on the underside of the base are seated properly.

The mechanism is designed to resist accidental turning, so you likely will be unable to turn it without attaching it to a surface. To do so, simply place an adhesive strip on the back and stick it wherever you like.

To select a month, rotate the cap until the desired month is visible through the window.
