Description
Spool holder that is pretty much as low as it can get. Mounts on MK3 Prusa frame. It has a guide for the filament (so it doesn't need to rub on the metal frame)
Can support 2kg spools.
No supports needed to print.
It's a remix from low angle spool holder, because it wasn't low enough for me. I have a very tight enclosure for it. I have around 15 cm from the frame top to the ceiling of the enclose.
I have printed it from PETG and I have used it for almost a year in a sealed enclosure printing high temp filaments. It only sagged a bit while holding 2kg spools but in reality there are no issues. In design I have 8mm hole, I was ready to add 8mm threaded rod in case I need some more strength and the arm part can be reprinted thicker as that's where the twist happens, but so far it doesn't seem like it's necessary.
