ADD PAUSE PRINT TO INSERT MAGNETS!

I created these bricks to make it easy to build cool structures without having any visible connectors. The design also allows creating non-cube blocks like stairs. Since it's 3D printed, it can also easily be modified or printed in different colors. I printed some blocks that look like Minecraft grass blocks.

The usage of multiple magnets (that can rotate freely) allows connecting blocks in any orientation, as opposed to just one.

They also make a satisfying click when connecting and are fun for kids who are old enough to not swallow them or do something else stupid.

Specifications:

The blocks are 16x16 mm per full block. Each block contains 8 magnet balls with a 5mm diameter, one in each corner. The magnets are all behind a 0.6mm wall on all 3 outside borders. If you want to create your own blocks, the easiest way is to modify the "Raw Block" file. Please mind the orientation of the "voxels" as the magnets are not centered in them, but closer to the outside wall, to allow a good connection. You may have to close some holes if you remove blocks; those are there to improve print consistency for full blocks.

Print Instructions:

I printed the blocks with a 0.2mm layer height. The prime tower is optional but might improve quality. The most important thing is that you add a "Pause Print" twice to insert the 5mm ball magnets. You can also add any color changes if you desire.
