I needed to make a lot of boxes for a Gridfinity project but I couldn't find a simple and accurate parametric file, then I got carried away… It is 100% compliant with gridfinity.xyz.
What you can play with
The width of the box.
The depth of the box.
The height of the box.
The thickness of the wall, without altering the bulk dimension of the box.
The label thingy (length and width), if needed.
The scoop thingy (length and width), if needed.
The number of dividers, if needed.
The screw holes, if needed.
The magnet holes, if needed.
The ribs (thickness and width), if needed.
Pro tip
If you put the parameter wall_thickness equal to your nozzle's printer diameter, then you'll get very close to a vase mode object, since the printer passes only one time to create the wall.
You will only need to play with the infill of your print (for me, 10% was enough).
If needed, you can add ribs for more rigidity.
How to use a parametric Fusion360 file
Open the file with Fusion360.
Go to “MODIFY”, then at the end you have “Change parameters”.
It will open a window (like the one above) with all the parameters from the file.
I've put in favorites all the parameters you need.
You just need to change the expression of the parameter you want to change.
