Description
This mount for an extrusion keep wires and thermistors in place. I made it long enough to have some strain relief, though I do include a shortened version handy for tight spaces.
The models are designed for LD0 2020, Misumi 1515, or Makerbeam 1515 extrusion and use the following supplies:
If none of the 3D models suit your needs, you can use the Fusion360 parametric design file to fit any wire, ziptie, or extrusion. I gave the variables descriptive comments, and I include an illustration of the extrusion parameters in the picture gallery.
Note that screw length is the primary factor in determining mount thickness, though there may be some wiggle room in the “depth” variable. If your layers get too thin around the cutouts for the zipties, then try a longer screw to force a thicker base.
Thanks for visiting, and enjoy!
Update: I've added options for 1515 Misumi and 1515 Makerbeam. I do not have these extrusions to test, but the dimensions are straight from the manufacturer documents. I also added a parameter to control tolerance in the f3d file.
