Description
These vanity covers are for a Dell PowerEdge T420 (or T320) chassis.
---
Do you have the chassis that allows 8 3.5" drives, but are only utilizing 4 of them? You could spend an additional $60 - $100 for some drive carriages that would just set unused. Or you could print this press fit drive bay cover. This matches the design of the computers existing vanity covers. Should you decide that you do want to expand to 8 drives later, this panel is easily removable.
---
Did you remove an old DVD or tape drive and now you have a gaping hole in the front of your chassis? This will allow you to replace the cover plate of an existing media bay filler with a plate that will cover two drive bays. It also includes provisions for mounting things like a Raspberry Pi, a Raspberry Pi Pico, and/or an additional 2.5" SATA drive in this bay space.
