Description

An extra step to get on the roof of your vehicle! Tested to fit Honda and Toyota doors. Slide it through the door latch loop and ascend! It supports an adult man's body weight, i.e. I am 230lbs. and I bounced up and down on it without breaking several times.

Printed using standard PLA with 100% infill, 3 layer walls, and normal supports. The print must be printed on its side as modeled for maximum load bearing strength.

I've been told that theoretically increasing the number of layer walls and printing in Nylon will increase the strength and longevity. Please feel free to message me if you can confirm!

Use at your own risk. I am not responsible for damage, dismemberment, or other injury and loss. It has worked repeatedly for me, your results may vary, ask a doctor before using or ingesting.

FYI, the hook is not load bearing like other designs, only there to maintain position of the device itself when unloaded. When loaded, the torsional force wedges the neck of the device in the striker, causing a small amount of deformation of the corners, and firmly holding it in place. Furthermore, the ridges along the bottom provide essential support, without which the plastic would not be strong enough as a simple solid block.
