Description
I built this light slat wall to our bicycle shelter using 3D-printed wedges. The purpose of the wall is to protect from sideways rain coming from the general wind direction. I reused scrap wood from another wall i reared down recently.
Building the wall, from top to bottom:
I printed these in PETG, 0.6 mm nozzle, 0.45 mm layer height, 2 vertical shells, 3 horizontal shells both top and bottom.
You can fit 24 wedges on a 21 x 25 cm plate (see file).
I wonder how the wedges preserve over time, given the exposure to light and moisture. I might give an update after a year or so.
