Description
This is my tool head for a Lulzbot TAZ 6. It is for 1.75 millimeter filament and uses a BMG style extruder with a Haldis Red Lizard hot end. A standard V6 hot end would probably work as well. I have also included my custom adjustable BL touch mount. It is not the one shown in the pictures but an improved version that is on my Aerostruder. I did in fact include two pictures of it on that tool head in blue.
Some notes:
The holes for mounting the part cooling duct and the BL touch are sized for threaded inserts.
I didn't include any wiring instructions but everything is available from lulzbot.
My taz is significantly modified including a big tree tech SKR main board so using the BL touch with the stock Rambo might be problematic I don't know. Also the BL touch is wired separately from the main harness.
The BL touch mount also requires A threaded insert a spring and a long screw.
If you are using the stock bed leveling, you will need to attach the wire for that to the hot end in order for it to work.
Obviously this is a bit of an advanced project. It took me a while to get it to where it is today. And even at that some of it looks a bit cobbled.
