Dewalt Sander 90 Degree Edge Sander Jig

Edge sanding attachment for a Dewalt DWE6423 (shown). Holds sander at a 90-degree angle to workpiece. The main body is printed in separate pieces to avoid an ungodly amount of supports. You will need supports though. I used a bit of CA glue between the main body pieces before inserting the screws. The height is adjustable using the wedge. It's not super useful in its current form since you'll likely be using it at the highest position. However, I plan to make this have adjustable angles in the future.

Hardware Required: 

• 6 / M5 head cap screws total
  • 3 for the main body
  • 1 for the hinge on the ring
  • 1 for the locking mechanism
  • 1 for the handle

The photos are of an earlier design, but the renderings are accurate to the STL files. 

This may work on other sanders that have a 69mm diameter. I only have this one so testing on others wasn't possible. 

Test this on something you don't care about before using it for real.
