Description
I rebuilt this model to have some slight changes… chamfers instead of fillets (better for printing, looks like a Dwarf design from LOTR [not that they would be caught shaving!]), plus a space for a 5-blade box. I have always wanted a place to keep my “active” box of new blades, so this is a great tucked-away spot.
The holder for the new blades is 28x50x8mm. Should fit most cardboard sleeves.
Print orientation is as-is, don't print face-down like the original. If you print in a translucent material like I did here (transparent blue petg), you can see how things a filling up. This bank should easily hold 200 blades, if they stack up properly. For me that works out to about 4 years' worth!
If the blade opening collapses, you can pry it open slightly with a thin screwdriver. The modelled opening is 0.5mm. You should also then tune your bridging flow rate!
