Description
Happy Star Wars Day from MiniWorld3D! This year we did something a bit different, not a location from “in-universe”, but from ours!
This MMU & multi-part model was created by Dany Sánchez, you can also print it all in one go as single color. It recreates the day of the original Star Wars premiere in 1977. We also include a slightly different version of what the theatre looks like today, without any specific movie advertising.
The Chinese Theatre (historically named Grauman's Chinese Theatre, and branded as TCL Chinese Theatre for naming rights) is a movie palace on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Los Angeles, California, USA.
It was built in 1926 after the success of the nearby Grauman's Egyptian Theatre. Both were built in the Exotic Revival style of architecture. Besides famous movie premieres, it has hosted many film industry events and three Academy Awards ceremonies.
Concrete tiles in the forecourt bear the signatures, footprints, and handprints of popular motion picture personalities from the 1920s to the present day.
Since 2013, it was converted into IMAX. The newly renovated theater seats 932 people and features one of the largest movie screens in North America
MiniWorld3D is happy to bring these models to life for all StarWars fans on May the Fourth! Please give credit, we made this model from scratch by hand and brain, it's all about spreading culture and education!
