Bag clip with screw cap

It can be attached to an opened plastic bag, containing cereal, rice, coffee beans or what ever comes in bags. 

Printing:
Print all parts as you desire. 0.2 and 0.3mm layer hights work fine. The wedges on the hub might curl a little upwards due to weak cooling but this causes no problem for assembly. The tolerances are bigh enough. The Clamp part features a little material bridge on the latch part. This helps preventing warping if bed adhesion is a little off. It will just rip away on first use. A brim might be useful for the Hub part. Eventhough it is not necessary, i'd recommend using organic support for the clamp part. This ensures a nicely looking hinge. Without support the hinge will work but might look a little curly

Size_1 Is good for finer grain like coffee, coffee beans, rice, oats, cereal and laundry detergent. (40mm inner diameter)

Size_2 Is a slightly bigger version, suitable for more coarse grain like some noodles, fruit cereal (bigger cereal in general), cat litter or dog food. (50mm inner diameter)

How to use

Cut out one corner off the bag, approximately as big as the Hubs outer diameter. Insert the Hub and clamp it in place.

If the bags material is very thick, you might have to wiggle the whole clamp a little and also give the latch a little help to properly latch on. If the material is very thin and prone to tear appart during insertion, you can just wrap one layer of tape around the cut out edge in order to stop tearing.

I got inspired from pirotsuku's model. His smal and elegant design is realy pleasing. I especially like his hinge. But even his model is realy nice, i wanted to make a clip, looking a little more robust

Added a Size_1 version for bags with really thick material like this aluminium coated Bags for coffee beans. It Provides more space to accommodate the foil and makes it much more easy to snap i shut. This version uses the regular Size_1 cap but might slip on thin material bags though
