Ender 3 S1 Spool Holder Mount

This model is based on the stock spool holder mount that snaps on the top bar of the Creality Ender 3 S1 (Pro). Use it as a drop-in replacement part or in addition to the original one. With a second mount you can fit a total of three 1kg spools on your printer and have enough room to access all of them.

Print all three parts and glue them together. As an alternative there is also a two-piece version with the center and left parts combined into a single piece.

The mount should snap onto the top bar easily and firmly. Note that due to different tolerances it might rest at a slightly different angle than the original part (in my case the original has a looser fit leading to a shallower angle than 45°, while the printed part sits at slightly above 45°).

Printer Settings

Using PLA with 3 perimeters/walls and 15-20% infill this mount should be able to hold a 1kg spool on each side without any issues. However another material might be preferable as PLA tends to creep under load.

The left and right parts might need brims to improve bed adhesion.

Optional Hardware

There are 5mm holes for M3 heat inserts if you want to attach the filament sensor.
