Description
I have a Flight Pathfinder electric ukulele and I love playing it. However there was always one thing that bothered me: It is modeled after an ST-style guitar but it uses domed knobs more commonly associated with T-style bodies.
Regular knobs look oversized on a ukulele and I haven't been able to find smaller ones. So of course I had to model these.
The knobs are around 80% the size of a guitar knob. These are not simply scaled down versions however. Instead they have been designed from scratch to ensure they look great and work as expected.
I have tested the knobs on my Pathfinder. They should fit any other instrument using 6mm shafts as well.
Use a 0.2 or 0.25mm nozzle and print with 0.08mm layer height. You can also choose a layer height of 0.12mm but the numbers might not be as crisp.
If you use a larger nozzle size the tolerances might be too tight for your knob to fit. In that case, you might want to scale up the model a bit in your slicer.
2026-06-02: Add multi-color models. These have not been tested yet, let me know in the comments how they turn out.
