Description
This simple glasses case prints in place with no supports required. As it uses a living hinge design, PLA is not recommended for this item (the print shown is PETG).
This case is designed to fit glasses up to 145mm wide and 55mm tall.
You will also need:
4x 8mm x 3mm round neodymium magnets (Here's a link to the ones I used)
Adhesive-backed felt (optional, for lining the inside of the case)
To assemble, print the part in the provided orientation. Supports are not required, though you may want to adjust your slicer settings to ensure the bridging layers are going in the right direction. After removing your case from the print bed, you can press one magnet into each of the four holes. They shouldn't require any glue, but you may need to use a vise or clamp to help press them into place. If you want to add a lining to your case, you may do so now.
This case is designed to hold glasses with the lenses facing the hinge.
