Silicone Sock Mold, for Prusa Mini

This mould is created to make silicone socks for the Prusa Mini.

Silicone Sock V2, Prusa Mini is optimised as much as possible. Instead of the standard approach using long m3 screws, the mould is closed with a simple clamp or vise.

What makes this mould better then other ones you might ask, well, it's been tested a lot by users worldwide. I've shipped over 1000 socks worldwide and improved the design with all the given feedback (click here if you want to order the sock instead of making it yourself). Now you can create this awesome silicone sock yourself at home.

The mould is made of just 3 parts, because of this, there is only one seam instead of many.

When making the sock make sure to use silicone that is temperature resistant. You have to look specifically for continuous usage as many companies only specify the resistance for a short period of time.

After injecting the mould with silicone (use the biggest hole to inject the silicone) and waiting for it to set, you can open the mould.

Cleaning up can be done with some flush-cutters, make sure to use sharp ones.
