CGC Comic Slab Wall Slide Mount
You need to print 2 wall mounts, and optionally 2 spacers, and the drill template. Slotted holes are 3mm spaced, so M4 wood screw (or similar size) will work. I recommend wall anchors unless lined up with a wall stud.
- Basic supports required (they come off / out easily)
- Basic infill (15%) is fine
- Drill template included (prints as 2 halves, glue, tape or use the coupler to join them)
- Make sure you line up the drill template with the plates to make sure you have them facing the correct direction, or the holes will be off.
- There are three (optional) shims included if you desire to add some friction to the slab when it is inserted into the slide brackets. The inserts should press fit and stay. If not glue or otherwise stick them there. If glued, let the glue cure (to avoid any fumes touching the CGC slab)
- 1.25mm (This worked best for the top for me)
- 2.25mm (This worked best for the bottom for me)
- 3.25mm (Included just in case this is needed for any other slab types)
5/12/23 : Iterating on things a bit. Increased the offset on the drill template. Will include example picture of it assembled. Also increased the slotted screw gap on the bracket itself. Everything is now working/verified.
