Description
I wanted to try this pyropatch to make my goggle super compact. They are 30$ which is not bad. Then I saw the 20$ that does not come with the 3D printed part.
I then ask myself, let's say I am paid 10$ an hour, can I design that part in less then 1 hour. well the answer is no, took me ~1h30. Then I started to fine tune it. Anyway it's done and it's free.
I added a revision that is call "THIS ONE" and it's pretty good, clips the PCB very good and won't fall out. I recommend you try it.
Please notes, the holes are tight, everything is tight, it's design to be hand drill a little bit.
You use the original fan screws to mound the top section
then use some M2 5-10mm long screws to mount everything.
Enjoy!
I hope this can help you save 10$.
You just need to order this https://pyrodrone.com/products/pyrodrone-pyropatch-5-8ghz-dual-patch-antenna-for-fatshark

ps - yes my print in those images are not great, I mainly print in TPU so some mechanical settings on my printer where not fully calibrated for PLA.
