Description

Hello, this is a WLED project.

First of all, thanks to Aircoookie for this amazing software https://github.com/Aircoookie/WLED

I only recommend this project to people who have experience with WLED projects. Or those who want to learn :)

Its not a print and have fun project, there is some work to do.

All parts except the LED strips and cables with the connectors are printable! Please follow my instructions.

Before you print all parts, first print the friction test. If it fits too loosely or too tightly, scale the tube accordingly.

Here is a first impression of what it could look like:

Lets get started:

Here in this video I show you how to connect the tubes correctly.

Here is a little picture history with all the preparatory work:

There are 3 sizes of tubes, 10, 15 and 20cm. The length of the cabel is allways 13cm. Solder one cable to the LED Strip.

Now slide the strip into the tube and a little beyond it. solder the second cable and slide the strip back

Now crimp the dupond connectors to both ends. Female on the inside and male on the outside direction. One tube is finished. Now please follow the assambly video.

If you wanna split the LED strip, here we go:

Make 3 two way connectors as short as possible

Dont forgett to print the screws and caps

This are M5 screws for a M4 imbus

After som tube element you need to fix them with a iron screw on the wall

Cover the iron and the printet screws with the screwcaps

I printet all parts in Prusament PLA, Tubes Vanilla White and connectors in Lime Green and Chocolate Brown.

No support needed for all parts. I printet the tubes with a 0.6 and the connectors with a 0.4 nozzle. No arachne mode.

I also use my PSU Box https://www.printables.com/de/model/480323-mean-well-rs-100-5-box-esp32 for this project.

Thats it, hope you like it.

Enjoy
