Description
I was facing an issue where the carriage would wobble even with eccentric nut adjustments. A bent alloy carriage plate was the main cause.
It took a few builds to get it right, but I got there.
*You can see the image of build tests and issues below but after several attempts and hours of rebuilds and prints I now have a solid carriage with no wobble and it prints flawlessly again.
*No more bend in the plate due to thickness modification and support layout.
*Eccentric nut placement moved from the original to allow a better grip on the axis and to remove wobble/play.
*Stronger support added for the belt holders
*Larger and longer slots for the belt are adjusted accordingly for the additional plate thickness.
** No Support is required for non-logo builds, May need some for logo builds.
** Install the bottom wheel first, then insert the top two bolts, slide over the rail, and add the colors then the wheels and nuts.
** The left-hand lower extruder mount screw can be a bit fiddly to install if it is the last one to do so I suggest you start with that one.
Enjoy, this took a substantial time to get right :)
** use the reinforced version if you still have bending issues
