Description

This lamp shades replace the ones usually used with IKEA brand “Solvinden” solar powered Fairy lights. It is realy light weight, robust and fast printing. It also comes in three styles to choose from

Printing:
All parts print in their given orientation. The LED_Holder works with layer hights up to 0.3mm. The Lamp_Shades have to be printed in vase mode with a 0.15mm layer hight if you are using a 0.4 nozzle. For larger nozzles, larger layer hights can be used of course.

If you add a color change, it gives the whole thing a realy pleasant look to it.

NOTE:

Make sure to have enough solid bottom layers on the Lamp_Shade in order to make the little latches solid. At 0.15 layer hight with a 0.4 nozzle, 30 solid bottom layers worked fine for me. you might do some testing your self

Assembly

If you are done printing, just snap the LED_Holder in place. Start with sticking in one side first and then fiddle the second side in too

Mount the whole Lamp_Shade like the original after wards

CHANGELOG 19.11.2024
Added a LED_Holder with tighter fit. I'd Recommend to use the LED_Holder_TightFit in general now
