Description

Parametric House Number Plate
Use OpenScad or the Customiser to modify settings and create your two STL files.

This house number plate comprises two parts.
For the Base, print the STL in the colour you want for the outer rim.

For the Cap, Use CURA or a similar utility to add a script to change the filament colour when it reaches the numbers layer.
("Extensions", "Post processing", "Modify G-Code" then click "Add a script" and choose "Filament Change". Then enter the layer number where it starts printing the numbers.
Click "Close" and an icon should appear next to the Slice button. (Click "Slice" to incorporate the script))

Use a high infill % if using white numbers as the infill pattern may show through.
PETG is recommended for outdoor use

Fitting:
Screw the base to the wall and adjust until level.
(Ensure countersunk screw heads do not protrude too much)
Apply a few blobs of general purpose transparent glue to the cap plate underside and push it into place.
