Heavy Metal Astronaut

If you, like me, like both heavy metal music and space stuff then this model is for you! It was designed for use with an 8 cm diameter snow globe. If you don't have one of those I also include a snow globe dummy you can print and put as a visor. Or you can simply print the unified version where the visor is part of the model. All files are provided.

Please note that the model is painted in some of the pictures. This is not a multi-color model. It looks awesome in all white, so I recommend that if you don't want to paint it.

Print instructions:

Full model (about 26 cm in height):

1. Recommend printing at 0.20 mm layer height using PLA.
2. Recommend slicing using the provided 3mf files as they have the supports exactly where they need to be (tree supports).
3. Print the suit.
4. Print the top of the helmet and hand.
5. (Optional) print the dummy snow globe if you don't have an 8 cm diameter snow globe that fits. Or…
6. (Optional) Print the skull (Murray) 3mf that fits into the snow globe hole. Or…
7. (Optional) Print the skull (Murray) 3mf and add it to an 8 cm diameter snow globe and fill it with epoxy resin (which is what you see in the pictures).
8. Assemble!
