Description

Small air plants just sit in bowls or inside shells, and that's all pretty and all, but I wanted something that showed mine off as people walked into my hall… which is tricky given the size of the plant itself, but I digress. I also wanted something that was printable on the Prusa Mini.

Then my lithops started moaning… Ok, you get a little pot as well. Urrgghhh, then the rest wanted in as well. OK, ok, a variety of pots were created.

But then I ran out of windowsill space… Ok, ok, we need glass and wall mounts and smaller hooks.

Please bear in mind these are designed to be friction fit and my printer is very well calibrated. You may need to add a dab of glue for the wall and glass mounts.

The 2 base project files are designed so you delete the pots you don't need.

The wall mount hook ‘p0’ is the default, but of you have a wider plant, use the p10 (which is 10mm longer) or P20 (20mm longer).

Print notes

The base should be printed solid to add weight. I do this with more perimeters for the most part as it is faster. I also add a fuzzy skin in the outside perimeter.

The hooks should be printed solid with perimeters due to the print orientation and direction of stress in use. They are unlikely to break, but they seem a little more flexible if you do solid infill.
