Brace Details:
- The braces are designed to support the corners of the concrete paver embedded into a Lack table.
- The screw holes on the braces are positioned strategically to ensure they thread into the structural areas of the table legs.
- The inside edge of the braces has a chamfered to facilitate a flush and square fit.
- #8 ¾" counter sunk screws are used to attach the braces to the table.
- CAD file is included to modify to your needs.
Print Settings:
- 0.8mm nozzle
- 4 perimeters
- 15% infill
The wall thickness should be around 3-4mm, but you may need to adjust this based on your own printing settings.
Paver Instructions:
Prepare Cut:
- Mark the area on the Lack table top where you will cut.
- Measure the width of your table (A) and the width of the paver (B).
- Subtract A from B (B - A) to get the difference.
- Divide the difference by two and measure inward from each corner of the table to place marks.
- Connect the marks using a straight edge.
- Cut out the marked section from the Lack table top.
Prepare the Inside of the Table:
- Drill out the four corners of the marked box on the table.
- Use a saw to cut along the edges of the marked box.
- Pry out the inside "lid" of the table. It may be held in place by weak glue.
- Use a utility knife to cut the core material along the edges of the top cut.
- Pinch out the core material from the bottom, as it should separate easily.
- Place dampening pads in the corners to provide support for the paver.
Place the Paver:
- Put the table back in its original position.
- Place the concrete paver into the cavity created inside the Lack table.
Enjoy!
