Description
Self Explanatory, But I've made ¼" Launch lugs for my rockets. Ive started launching rockets more and more with ¼" rods, less whip/flexing when the bigger rockets take off. So i made these lugs to fit various size standard body tubes perfectly. The “front” or up end has a slight taper on the front, the longest dimension is 30mm (just over 1"). I labeled each one with the body tube size it was designed for on the bottom of it to easily identify your desired lug if you like to print a bunch at a time so they're ready next time you need one. (also, they allow your adhesive to bite a bit more)
Sizes:
*BT-55 (33.7mm OD)
*BT-60 (41.6mm OD)
*BT-70 (56.3mm OD)
*BT-80 (66mm OD, So LOC Precision 2.66" tubes can use this as they are 66.8mm OD)
*3" (78.7mm OD) *Specifically the 3.1" OD LOC Precision body tubes*
On some of my medium sized rockets i will install buttons and lugs for flexibility, cant imagine using lugs on anything larger than 3" but i could make one if someone requested it
