Description
In my continued efforts to sloppily defile HoJoWork's 120mm blower duct, I created this. It allowed you to use a big honking 120mm blower fan in any application that calls for a 80mm axial fan.
Why would any sane person want to do this?
Admittedly, the use-cases are limited. But what I'm going to use it for is to cool two nvidia tesla P40 GPUs with a single 120mm blower. I printed this dual-P40-to-80mm duct, which in conjunction with my duct, should do the trick: https://www.printables.com/model/406116-dual-nvidia-tesla-p40-fan-mount-80mm-92mm-120mm
This is a janky solution to a problem that could almost certainly be solved more elegantly. If you do decide to go this route, be sure to use a high-temp material (I used ABS) and make sure your unwieldy cards/duct/fan assembly is properly secured with zip ties or printed brackets or something other than gravity and wishful thinking.
