Tern Front Loader Adapter for Bottle Cage

This is a very simple adapter to fix a standard size bottle cage or something similar to the front attachment on Tern folding bicycles, since I could not find anything like this at Thingiverse or Printables. My normal attachment points are “blocked” with a strong lock thus I needed a second option.

I use it on my Vektron and it should fit on the other Tern foldable bikes as well. Remove the front Tern logo carefully to find the attachment socket. This should also fit Dahon or similar bikes with a 30mm pitch and 2 M6 screw fittings. 

It increases the distance in x of the bike to 16mm in total - that is enough in order for the bottle cage not to collide with the folding mechanism of the front end. You will need 2 M6 screws with about 11mm length and screws and nuts for the bottle cage (M5) - Note: the M6 thread on the Tern is only 5.5mm deep, so more than 11mm for the M6 screws will require washers.

I've printed this on my Snapmaker J1 in PLA with 0.16mm with 50% infill and 4 shells. Print long side down or on the sides, should not matter, since there is max. 1kg weight on it with a full large bottle. Most likely should perform better with PETG or ASA.
