140% version of "Designer Lithophane Moon Lamp" & Custom Base with Safety Lock.

I loved the Designer Lithophane Moon Lamp by @FrankDeschner  which is an updated work from  8" Inches Progressive Detail Moon Lamp with IKEA screw socket but I wanted something little bigger. 140% bigger!

Using my Voron 2.4r2 350x350x350 FDM printer I printed a moon 287x287x274 mm without supports using PLA.

I could not use the original ceiling-adapters scaled 140% as they did not work for any light so using as a model the printed 140% moon created from scratch a new ceiling adapter to work with Pendant Light Kit with Dimmer Switch and a 6W LED Edison Bulb.

Finally, I added a safety lock-ring so the moon do not fall from the sky accidentally!

Printer setup for all pieces are as follows:

• PrusaSlicer 2.6.0 alpha5
• 100% Infill.
• 0.2 Layer Height.
• No supports.
• Materail
  • PLA white for the moon
  • PLA clear/natural for light adapter & lock ring.
• Total Print time 3 Days 20 minutes.
